What Chakra Readings are Really About

Many of us carry emotional patterns we don’t fully understand and find ourselves repeating the same behaviours or falling into the same relationship dynamics, while sensing that something inside is holding us back.

Chakra readings are a reflective and intuitive process that helps bring these deeper patterns into awareness.

Rather than focusing only on thoughts, we pay attention to your internal experience as a whole, your emotions, bodily sensations, memories, and the ways you protect yourself, relate to others, and respond to stress or vulnerability.

As these patterns become more conscious, many people begin to emotional release, clarity, and inner alignment.

The process does not require you to have any previous experience or beliefs about energy work. Openness, curiosity, and a willingness to explore your inner experience are enough.

Why Chakra Readings?

Rather than focusing only on conversation or intellectual analysis, chakra readings use the chakra system as a reflective framework for exploring how emotional experiences, beliefs, and relational patterns may be held within the body and subconscious mind, through bodily awareness, intuition, reflection, and energetic observation.

Because the process is less reliant on explanation alone, people often become aware of emotions, patterns, or inner conflicts they hadn’t fully recognized. At times, clients are surprised by how accurately certain experiences, emotional themes, or relational dynamics are reflected without needing to explain them in detail first.

This often creates a powerful sense of being seen and understood. Experiences that once felt confusing, private, or difficult to articulate can suddenly feel more visible, validated, and easier to make sense of.

Whether you view this process psychologically, spiritually, symbolically, or intuitively matters less than the experience itself and whether it helps you feel more aware, clear, and connected to yourself.

What a Session Feels Like

A chakra reading is both reflective and experiential. Some moments involve conversation and insight; others are quieter, more inward, and emotionally felt.

Sessions often begin with a period of silence and observation. As attention turns inward, many people begin noticing things they normally move past or suppress—subtle emotions, tension in the body, memories, relational patterns, or feelings that have been sitting beneath the surface for a long time.

Throughout the process, I share what I’m noticing while also encouraging you to stay connected to your own experience. Sometimes people feel deeply validated by hearing emotional patterns reflected back to them in a way they’ve never fully articulated before.

At times, insight arrives very naturally. A memory resurfaces. An emotion suddenly makes sense. A recurring relationship dynamic becomes clearer. Other times, the experience is more emotional than analytical—a feeling of release, resonance, calm, grief, relief, or reconnection with yourself.

There is no “correct” way to experience a session. Some people speak openly throughout the process, while others become quiet and reflective. The session unfolds collaboratively, guided by what feels most meaningful and relevant in the moment.

Many people leave feeling lighter, clearer, emotionally softer, or more connected to themselves because something important was finally seen, felt, or understood more fully.

  • Sessions are 90 to 120 minutes.
  • Sessions are $100 CAD.
  • Available in person (Nanaimo or Sooke, BC) or online.

Remote sessions can be just as effective – what matters most is your presence and openness to the experience.
