A Practical Approach to Personal Development

Most people don’t struggle because they don’t know what they want. They struggle because something keeps getting in the way.

Overthinking. Self-doubt. Emotional patterns that repeat. A sense that you’re not fully acting in alignment with who you want to be.

At The Heart Chakra, I guide people through a process of personal and spiritual development by working directly with these patterns as they arise.

How This Work Happens

In sessions, we pay close attention to your internal experience
in real time, what you’re feeling in your body, the emotions that come up,
and the patterns in how you think, react, and relate to yourself.

Using intuitive energy work, along with focused attention and dialogue,
we bring these patterns into awareness. As they become more conscious,
insight becomes something you can feel directly, understand more clearly,
and begin applying in your life.

Over time, many people notice a greater sense of internal coherence: thoughts, emotions, values, and actions begin to move in the same direction. From there, decisions become clearer, self-doubt softens, and you’re able to think, feel, and act in ways that feel consistent with who you actually want to be.

This approach draws from psychological frameworks, Buddhist philosophy, and somatic practices, bridging modern understanding with experiential ways of working directly with your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour.

Why We Get Stuck in the Same Patterns

Most people spend their lives trying to get what they want and avoid what they fear. A better job, a relationship, more confidence, more security, more clarity. And for a moment, getting these things can feel good. But over time, many people begin to notice something: The same patterns of wanting, worrying, and reacting keep repeating regardless of the situation. 

At the core of this work is a simple but powerful shift: What you are really seeking is not a thing, but a feeling. And what you are trying to avoid is not a situation, but a feeling.

When we look more closely, we begin to see that these feelings are not created by the world around us, but by how we interpret and relate to it through our thoughts, beliefs, and past experiences. These patterns often run automatically. They shape how we feel, how we behave, and how we see ourselves, without us fully realizing it.

This work is about bringing those patterns into awareness. Not to judge or control them, but to understand them. Because when you can see what is happening in your mind and body in real time, something changes. There is more space. More choice. Less reactivity.

From there, practices like mindfulness, energy work, and reflection become practical tools for working directly with your internal experience rather than trying to control life from the outside. 

Over time, this leads to a different way of living: You can still want things, pursue goals, and build relationships but without your sense of peace, worth, or stability depending on them. Instead of being pulled by patterns, you begin to act with clarity, intention, and self-trust.

1:1 Sessions

Chakra readings offer a different way of accessing your internal patterns. A reading brings attention to recurring emotional and mental themes, how they show up in your body, and how they may be influencing your behaviour and relationships.

For some, this creates immediate clarity. For others, it becomes a starting point for deeper exploration and change.

Energy work and Reiki offer a direct, experiential approach to healing. In these sessions, we focus less on analysis and more on working with your internal state as it unfolds—helping you relax, feel safe, and shift emotional patterns through guided awareness, attention to the body, and intuitive energy work.

How This Work Evolved

I began practicing energy work at thirteen and have continued to develop it over many years of direct experience.

In my early twenties, I was drawn to meditation and mindfulness through a more Buddhist lens, where I experienced a significant amount of personal healing and insight. At the same time, I began to recognize that something was missing, particularly in understanding how patterns form through relationships, conditioning, and early life experiences.

This led me to study counselling and work within a mental health framework, where I developed a deeper understanding of attachment, behaviour, and emotional patterns. While this added an important layer, I found that insight alone was often not enough to create the kind of change people were looking for.

My work now is an integration of these approaches, bringing together psychological understanding, mindfulness, and energy-based practices in a way that is practical, experiential, and focused on real change.
